Each childcare setting works towards achieving specific standards in 14 different areas. These are known as the National Standards and are framed within the `Every Child Matters’ Outcomes:

Aspects of record keeping are in place and parents can access their child’s experience and achievements 2. Organisation 14. Records Children are protected from people who are not vetted. Staff are suitably qualified Records are maintained and policies kept up to date. We use self-evaluation to measure our progress against these standards and our OFSTED inspection provides an external check that we are maintaining progress.
