COTTAGE (AFTER SCHOOL) CLUB
The Breakfast Club/ Cottage Club provides a safe, secure and stimulating environment for the care of children in full time education up to the age of eleven, before and after school hours.
Activities
Children will be encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities. These will include
- Books and Magazines
- Painting, Modeling, Craft Work
- Construction
- Computer Skills
- Educational Videos
- Puzzles and Board Games
- Outside Play, including Sports
- Cooking
- Home Play
- Sand and Water Play
- Music
- A Quiet area will be available
Refreshments
Children arriving at the club will be given a drink and a snack in line with our healthy eating policy. Drinks will be available throughout the session.
Registration
The membership fee of £5.00 per year, per family, is required and is non-refundable.
This is an annual charge, renewable every September at the start of the School Autumn term. A Registration Form must be completed and signed.
Fees are still payable if a child is absent. The only exception is if a child is in hospital – no charge will be made.
4 weeks notice or full payment in lieu of notice is required when the place is no longer required.
Parents of children attending Reception class in the autumn term who wish to guarantee their child’s place at ASC in the following January are required to pay a retainer fee. This is a maximum of £50 per place and is to offset the cost of holding a place open for a complete term.
Session Fees
Weekly hours of children from the same family will be added together for charging purposes.
After you have registered, the following will apply when you need to book your child in:
Session Details
- Children will be collected from school at all times.
- Parents are responsible for collecting their child at the pre-arranged time and must never leave their children unattended outside The Cottage
- Changes to collection arrangements must be notified to staff in writing to ensure that there is always a clearly defined changeover of responsibility.
- Children who are ill or who have been sent home from school during the day because of illness should not be sent The Cottage.
