17 Jun 2008 - June 2008 Newsletter
NEWSLETTER
Thank you all for your help and support with the May Fayre and Opening of the Soft Play Area, both events were very well attended. The May Fayre has raised approximately £350 for the Cottage funds. WPC Sue Crisell officially opened the new soft play area and was very impressed with our efforts to educate the children in road safety awareness and the facilities we offer our children.
We have got a very busy half term and details of the events follow:
Sponsored Bike Ride/Teddy Bears Picnic
Just a reminder that the Sponsored Bike Ride/Teddy Bears Picnic takes place this Friday 20th June at 10.45 am. Bring along a teddy bear plus your picnic and join in the fun. All money raised will be divided between the NSPCC and the Cottage on a 20:80 split. Tea and coffee will be available for parents and ice cream for the children. Please return all sponsor money by 4th July.

This will be held on Friday 4th July and all children are invited to come along to the Cottage at 9.30 for a group photo before the event starts at 10.00 am. Teas and coffee will be available for parents and ice cream for the children.

AGM
The AGM will be held at the Cottage on Thursday 2nd October 2008 at 8.00 pm. Some members of the Committee will be stepping down this autumn as their children have now moved on to school.
