Welcome back to a very busy term, which includes the Opening of our Soft Play Area. Thank you to all those parents who came along to the Easter Bonnet Parade where we raised £130, which will be going towards an electric gate.
May Fayre, 17th May 10.00am – 1.00pm
We have been asked to run the refreshments at this event serving cream teas. We would be grateful for help to man this stall and a reply slip can be found below. Please come along and support this event, there is an inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castle, face painting etc.
Holiday Club ( Tuesday 27th – Friday 30th May)
Bookings are being taken for the May half term Holiday Club. Activities this time are:
Tuesday Music & Movement
Wednesday Design & decorate your own bowl
Thursday Cooking
Friday Football
Call into the Cottage or telephone to book a place on the above numbers. Hurry to avoid disappointment.
Official Opening for the Soft Play Area
This will be held on Saturday 7th June from 11am until 1pm to celebrate the completion of the soft play area and zone garden. An invitation to this event with full details will be sent out to parents shortly. Helpers are needed on Friday 6th June from 6pm onwards to tidy the garden so if you are able to come along and help we would be pleased to see you. A list of jobs will be drawn up and made available on the notice board so please sign up.

Teddy Bears Picnic/Sponsored Bike Ride
We are holding our annual sponsored bike ride/teddy bears picnic on Friday 20th June and this year we are also supporting NSPCC/Childline by donating 20% of the sponsorship money. We will be using our new road layout for the lap count. Sponsorship forms will be sent out just before half term.
Places Available
We have some places available at the Pre-school sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings
and also Caterpillar sessions Monday to Thursday from 12.15pm – 2.45pm. If you are interested in booking a place please speak to a member of staff.
Reminders to Parents
The Comment/Communication book is working very well, if you do make a comment please let staff know.
If you wish your child to come along to Pre-school before 9.00am please book a place at Early Birds so that we can ensure this session is adequately staffed.
