General  Policy

We aim to provide a healthy and safe environment for the children and for the staff to work in. Staff, visitors or voluntary helpers who attend the setting and work directly with children must not be under the influence of alcohol or any other substance which may affect their ability to care for children. 

Medicines

People taking medication which may affect their ability to care for children should seek medical advice before returning to work, only returning if that advice is that the medication is unlikely to impair their ability to look after children.
